What is VETASSESS?

VETASSESS is Australia's most widely used skills assessing authority. Authorised to evaluate professionals and tradespeople in over 360 occupations, it is the go-to body for the vast majority of non-engineering, non-ICT professions.

Two Categories Assessed

Professional and General Occupations: 361 roles including Marketing Specialist, HR Manager, Graphic Designer, and Health professionals.
Trade Occupations: 27 trade roles including Chef, Cook, Welder, and Cabinetmaker.

Eligibility Criteria

You must hold a qualification at the required level in a "highly relevant" field and have at least one year of post-qualification employment completed within the last five years.

Skills Assessment

English Test

Achieve the required score in IELTS or PTE Academic to maximize your points.

EOI Submission

Submit your Expression of Interest (EOI) through SkillSelect for state or federal nomination.

Visa Application

Once invited, lodge your final visa application with the Department of Home Affairs.
